This demo got positive feedback and Blood Red Throne got offers from labels right away. Finally having recruited long-time friend Mr. Hustler as the permanent frontman, the same line-up recorded the debut Monument of Death and released it through Hammerheart Records in 2001.

Hustler had to leave the band due to work commitments and Vald was handed the microphone. To make things easier, Blood Red Throne also had to find a permanent and local drummer, and this led to the recruitment of Anders Haave. He joined the band in 2006 and Blood Red Throne went on a new European tour several live shows until going into the studio to record their fourth album, Come Death, for Earache Records. Blood Red Throne was confirmed February 7, 2009, to play at the Infernofestival in Oslo which took place April 8—11, 2009.
Blood Red Throne is nothing like either of those bands, but instead is a healthy dose of Floridian-style death metal, with a superb production highlighting the crunchy riffs and standout vocals of one Mr.
Everything is in place here, from well-placed solos to grinding riffs to plenty of variance in tempos. One of the few Norwegian bands playing brutal death metal, this is an excellent band for the style.
The album finally closes with Fleshrend, the longest of the nine compositions, which at times allows itself a more haunting pace to accentuate the rawest parts, as well as the more worked and airy ones, until the final acceleration.
Nonagon is still a strong album and in no way a bad record. Typically, a killer BRT album grabs me on the first listen, but Nonagon took a while to absorb. Much of that is due to the urge to shove every goddamn riff available into these nine tracks.
As I mentioned, a few of these songs could have been better with a little more restraint and a bit more memorability. It just falls a tad short of the monster that is Imperial Congregation but it still finds the band crushing their performances with a solid mix to boot. Rating: 3.

Albeit a little light in the originality department, this is for the death metal heads who just want to fuck shit up and headbang. In that respect, Nonagon delivers the goods and then some. Rampaging familiarity. Killer solos, fast crunchy riffs, hooks galore and shouty growled vocals.

Которые, стабильно записывают альбомы, не реже чем раз в 2-3 года, и пока не сбавляют этот темп, выпустив уже одиннадцатый альбом в таком режиме с начала века. И да, с одной стороны, это немного нетипичная для меня музыка, в том плане, что довольно размеренно и тягуче, как по мне, всё у них звучит по крайней мере большую часть альбома.
Но экстрим вокал, и общая подача материала, полностью это компенсируют. Получается отличная тяжёлая музыка, которую приятно слушать. А так, ну дикие «вопли» в начале песен, для них норма, и с этого и начнётся альбом, в первой парочке песен. А следом, пойдёт среднетемповый тяжеляк, иногда с короткими чуть ускорившимися риффами.
